I started as an Automotive DRIVE Graduate in Marketing/Communications together with my generation 10 colleagues in May 2015. Since, I spent seven months in my first assignment in the division Interior, Business Unit Commercial Vehicles Aftermarket with a Headquarter function close to Frankfurt (Germany).

Me with the other DRIVE traineesMy tasks during this first assignment are really broad. From maintaining different language versions of our brand websites such as www.vdo.com or parts of www.continental-automotive.com to managing our ATE social media channel on Facebook www.facebook.com/ATE to organizing advertising campaigns, I had a huge variety of activities. The highlight for me was and is the implementation of a cookie policy for all our websites and online shops. I got in contact with different stakeholders inside and outside Continental and learned a lot about marketing as well as the legal perspective.
Overall, it was always enjoyably busy in my three-people office. Various agencies supporting us on different tasks need briefings or feedback and report their outcomes regularly which makes our phones ring many times a day. Also meetings are no rarity in my working field.
I am now preparing for my second assignment which will take me to our reginal sales office France, close to Paris. There, I will continue working in the same business unit on related online topics with crossovers to sales.
